The voice cry sample is pulled directly from a Hans Zimmer track, released that same year, titled <em>The Rainmaker<\/em>, is both beautiful and haunting.  It may be more recognizable as the primary vocal sample in <em>Raincry<\/em> by the late Scott Hardkiss (aka God Within), released a year later in 1993.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For me the true power of this track comes from both the simple yet intricate rhythm section as well as the tribal chant which appears later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At 34 years old, this piece would qualify as a classic, yet it holds up as well as, if not better than many of the electronic being released presently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Greyclouds\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/s3kUxH2LYk8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Grey Clouds by Dearboy is a 1992 Tribal House track which was far ahead of its time.
